I shared some bad news yesterday about failing the CCNA Security exam, so i thought i'd share some good news today.
Today I started a new role at my company that allows me to work 100% from home. It's amazing so far! Before this i was commuting up to 3 hours everyday (almost 1.5 hours both ways). Now it's a 5 second commute from my bed into my home office!
The interview and promotion process has taken months. But I can confidentially say that having all of the certs from WGU's program definitely made me stand out in the process, and i really think that is what pushed me over the edge. The position did require a Bachelors, so even my unrelated TESU psych BA got my foot in the door.
This job would be worth it just for the working from home ability, but on top of that I got a very nice raise as well.
So I can see very tangible benefits form the degreeforum already! I'm very thankful for this community!
