Good thing I didn't plan or buy any airfare tickets, I found out today that TESC does the graduation ceremony once a year in the fall. My adviser told me I will still be getting my diploma in March in the mail, it's just that if I wanted to go to the ceremony it will be held in fall, September I believe. Ah, I guess I will wait.
What questions me is, I see pictures of TESC graduates at the ceremony the last year and it looks like they are holding a diploma? Or a diploma holder that reads "Thomas Edison State College", so in that holder or whatever it's called it's not a diploma? What is it than? lol
Ah, well there's a possibility I'll be going to that. Not sure one way or another, but it's in the realm of possibility.
haha, not sure. A copy? I've no clue.

Ace_King Wrote:Yes, for this forum in general I wouldn't be here. My parents both have degrees, and I went a couple years without school and they kept pressuring me to finish a four year degree. They thought I never would get a bachelors degree. I did this more for my mom, well I did it for me too...but she had that look in her eye that her son won't ever graduate college. If it wasn't for this forum I'd probably have a NA bachelors, not bashing NA or anything. I went to Penn Foster for my A.A before the big three. They get to see me walk in stage on March at TESC! But I am highly impressed with non traditional methods of credit. Everytime I see someone who is attending a for profit school, I try to tell them about the big three instead.
Oh and yes guys, I'm still working on getting my transcript uploaded on here, been very busy but will get that done. For those interested on how and where I obtained majority of my ACE credits.
I'm so happy for you!

All of my credits except for 18 were in a class of some sort. Took 3 CLEPs and 3 DSST to help speed up my degree. BUT what I am obsessed with is trying to take advantage of the exams I did not take to put together another degree in business. Also I've been looking for graduate programs online for about 14 hours a day. Sometimes the thought of trying to find one keeps me up at night...What's crazy is I will not be ready for a masters until I finish my last class in March. This forum created a new hobby for me. I used to skydive every week but now I just do homework...with a smile.

Wow! What are you looking to major in for graduate school? I didn't spend 14 hours a day, but I think I looked at about 100 schools in my areas of interest.

Thanks Sanantone! I appreciate it. You did help me with vital information when I asked a billion of questions through your inbox (heh) about ACE credits and the difference between what TESC considered CJ or Social Science, and that helped me a lot! Otherwise I'd be in a stump taking more credits I wouldn't need. So thanks once again to you and this forum in general!! I have to remember in March to create a "I am done thread", gotta get to that very soon, lol.
