I have been doing great on the marketing IC questions. But then took practice test in the College board Study guide book and did quite bad. the questions seem much harder than clep test questions .. is this true?

It depends on the test. I have taken some that are harder in the CLEP book and some that are easier. Marketing is not one of the subjects I have taken yet, but if you look under the specific feedback section under that test I'm sure it will come up. Sorry I could'nt be more help.

I found the test questions to be a good representation of the Marketing test.

In general, I've found the CLEP official practice tests to be a good indicator of the actual CLEPs I've taken, the Petersen's to be a bit harder than the actual CLEPs, and the REA's to range from a good bit harder to way 'off-base.' The CLEP guide Marketing was very similar to the actual CLEP Marketing for me.
