or does it seem like there were fewer new posts on the forum this week? Usually when I log in and go to new posts, it seems like there are at least a page or 2 to go through. Which I loooove by the way.
But this week, it just seems like there are not as many new posts each day. Is it because Marshall has been conscipuously absent? Hmmmmm...something to think about. Or, maybe it's just me. Also a possibility.
Just wondering.

Kelly...it really brings my heart joy when I find out that you've been thinking about mehilarious !!!!!
I just wanted to let everyone on IC know that I'm going to be M.I.A for awhile. I had to tighten up my budget a little due to some financial issues. I've cancelled the 3 exams I had scheduled because I need to start saving some money. I also cancelled my IC membership.
I'll have to postpone my exam-taking until next year. I need to save for a car and an apartment right now. I'll still be checking in on the forums every now and then so I won't be completely ghost.
I just want to say thanks to everyone here on IC because you guys have truly been a blessing to me. Good luck to you all in your educational pursuits. I wish you all the very best.
Peace be unto you and your families.

Sorry to hear about that Marshall. I hope you can get everything worked out and get back on track for your degree. You have been on a great roll.
Good luck,
Doug

I was also thinking things have been slow. Marshall we will miss you. Can't you get any kind of financial aid? You were on a roll it is sad that someone who works as hard as you has to put school off because of money. More aid should go to mature adults who will appreciate it. So many kids get free rides and just blow it off because they are kids.

I think it might be the olympics plus maybe back to school being around the corner.
mlwilliamsiv,
Bravo to you for making the decisions that you needed to make. I'm sure that you weighed your options and will be just fine. Sucks putting off your degree (I know) but keeping a roof over your head is a little more important. Wish you well.

Thank you all very much for the kind words!!! You all brought a smile to my face!
I'm not letting this small problem...I mean "disruptive occurrence" stop me from getting my degree. I'll still finish my degree next year, I just have to postpone my exam-taking until next year.
I'll continue to keep you all in my prayers and applaud and root for you all as always. I am so proud of all of us for taking the "road less traveled."
Good luck to you all on your educational journey.
Peace be with you always.

Marshall,

I haven't even peeked in on everyone here in almost a month. But things are looking up and should be back to "normal" in another week.
