I love witnessing the total capitulation of those who want to continue to be relevant. On the other hand, I am actually feeling pity for the multitudes who cannot accept the results of the election. A great many voluntarily abandoned their own sanity over their anger over the reality of Donald J. Trump being President of the United States. I pray they will be able to let go of the anger and find peace.

It isn’t like Harris supporters stormed the capitol to stop the certification of the election or anything…

I have a little rant about software developers.
While this doesn’t excuse the bad actions Zuckerberg has taken in the past regarding bias and censorship, I believe software developers, as a group, tend to lean more libertarian than align with any specific political party, regardless of how they vote. You can see evidence of this in the abundance of open-source software they create, driven by a desire to make the world a better place through innovation and collaboration.
Leaning left was once a popular stance, as the left was widely seen as the side that most supported libertarian positions. However, when the left shifted toward being "woke" and authoritarian, many software developers felt alienated—this wasn't what they signed up for. That’s why I think we’re seeing some of them pull away from the left.
The problem, though, is that there are authoritarian tendencies on the right as well. This leaves many developers stuck choosing between the lesser of two evils or adopting a "F all politicians" perspective entirely.

LOL I chuckle each time I see these come around, guess now I'm an Em Admin.
I am in LOVE though with UI/UX, it changes with user requirements. Heh peer-to-peer, never heard of it officer. * Cough Cough * ((( FMHY )))
Yeah the growing NAS drives is relevant to housing my own data, iCloud private keys are now taken and retained by the UK, and makes you wonder how many other governments are not yet enjoying the same access.
Plus Canada has so many data storage requirements, but hey we're almost the 51st state right?
Side-note, the job-hopper is so accurate, I know this person so well, and during the pandemic he had 2 jobs and time to spare, he had the skills and talent of 2 seasoned programmers, without AI. Body-builder, freshly married a few years ago, strong Christian, didn't believe in progressivism because it goes against Christian teachings directly, but didn't hold it against them. A true modern masterpiece of a person, and basically anyone who meets him loves him, a true hero.
Not sure about the ASP.NET dev placement though, that one seems a bit of a mixed bag, I like ASP.NET and not a leftist, but I know 4 other ASP.NET devs that are all over the map. Hmmm gotta think on that one. Still, a fun exercise to think of where your friends fall into on the map. Thanks for the post!
