Hello, folks.
Firstly, the amount of information on the forum and wiki is astounding. I'm beyond ecstatic to continue to learn and grow and to find a website like this with so many outstanding like-minded individuals is a tremendous fortune for me. However, I am seeking a little guidance and information. While I reviewed the "starter guide" so to speak with regard to the process of evaluation, planning and what not, I am a little in the gray with my current situation and what to do next.
Here's some background:
I have completed my Associate of Science in Management through Post University, I'm almost certain I'd like to pursue a Bachelor's in Management or Liberal Arts through TESC. What kind of plan can I implement to efficiently attain the degree(s)? Is there someone who would be able to piece together something of that nature for me? Or at least provide a foundation for me. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Forgive me if I sound naive, but I am fairly confident with what's ahead, in terms of utilizing SL, Study, etc. I would simply appreciate someone far more informed than myself to shed a little light for me.
All the best,
Tree!

Post the info for what you've taken on here. Please, please don't just copy and past your transcripts. The way they put it is very choppy and hard to read through. First, list the school (or at least some info like Community College A, so we know they're LL courses). Include whether it's semester or quarter based. Then list the course number, full course name, number of credits earned, and grade if less than a C (important for some classes). Repeat with any additional schools you've gone to. It should look like this:
Community College A (semester)
ENG101 English Composition 3cr B
x
x
x
Community College B (quarter)
MAT101 College Algebra 4cr A
x
4-year College (semester)
Organizational Behavior 3cr B

I was thinking that - I just actually made my own "sticky" on my desktop so I can cut and paste it when I want it.

Have you given any thought to Western Governor's University? You have quite a few credits which would transfer there, and with your associates degree most of the lower level courses would be cleared. Might be worth looking into as you consider TESC.
Here Researching for my son, who has done the following:
Community College: Intro to Philosophy, Fundamentals of IT, English Comp 1
Saylor: Intro to Business, Principles of Marketing, Corporate Communication
Shmoop: US History 2 (WGU won't accept this)
ALEKS: Int. Algebra, College Algebra
Study.com: Personal Finance, Principles of Finance, HR Management, Global Business, Advanced Operations Management
Straighterline: US History 2, Environmental Science, US History, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, English Comp 2, Principles of Management, Business Law, Business Ethics, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Accounting 1,Communication, Managerial Accounting, Statistics
Ed4Credit: Managing Information Systems
Sophia: Project Management
WGU: Bachelors in HR Management
Second son is currently attending Penn Foster for his high school diploma, then on to Ashworth for An Associates in Criminal Justice

It's formatted perfectly. A couple of questions:
1) Is the Communications course a speech course, or just regular comm?
2) Are the College Writing classes considered English I & II at that school?
3) What is Learning Across the Lifespan?
4) Were any of these considered UL courses at your school, or were they all LL?

Thank you for the quick reply! ^_^ I'm beyond stoked to get a plan together!

Awesome! The communications course was just a regular comm.
dfrecore Wrote:2) Are the College Writing classes considered English I & II at that school?
Correct.
dfrecore Wrote:3) What is Learning Across the Lifespan?
That course was a mandatory specialized course for all first year students. Not sure how that translates in terms of transferable credits.
dfrecore Wrote:4) Were any of these considered UL courses at your school, or were they all LL?
I believe they were all considered LL classes.

One more question - was Exploring Environmental Issues considered a science course?
