Hello,
First off, I would like to say thank you to everyone on this forum. Although I have only recently joined as a member, I viewed many times before my first Clep exam.
A little about me, I'm an Accounting Major at a Texas State School with approximately 6 months until graduation with my BBA/MSA (technically won't graduate until May- taking a CPA review course in the spring, but I plan on working full-time during this).
Below are the following exams, dates, and scores I have received credit for:
CLEP:
Precaclucus (June 2017)- 80
College Algebra (May 2017)- 76
Microeconomics (December 2015)- 76
AP
Calculus (May 2014) - 4
ACT
English(June 2013)- 35 subsection score (credit granted for Composition I and II).
I feel that CLEP exams in particular should be used by all college students/prospective college students. They are a huge reason that I will be able to graduated with a Bachelors and Masters degrees in 3.5/4 years.
I have now taken my last CLEP exam, and plan on taking a break before beginning study for the CPA exam later this fall. For the few of you familiar with these I plan on taking them in the following order:
BEC- Jan 2018
REG- Feb 2018
FAR- Apr 2018
AUD- May 2018
Let me know if you have any questions on any of my experiences and I will be happy to share how I studied etc! I plan on posting a more detailed review for at least Precalculus as I found information on this to be somewhat lacking compared to the other exams I did.
Thank you,
Glenn
