Im from the Uk and Currently hold a BA (Hons) in History & Politics and also a Master of Science in a very niche subject as well as another qualification in a different subject that is roughly equivalent to an Associates degree in the USA , during covid I started taking some Sophia courses just to help pass the time during our many lockdowns and furloughs,
Ive now got interested in potentially transferring those Sophia course into partly doing the BABA - Managment & Leadership Concentration partly for self development as well as to increase my current qualifications & employment prospects in my current role but I thought it may also be useful to have an American degree if I ever do emigrate to the USA which is one of my long term goals,
I know this is a very niche question but would appreciate any first hand knowledge of the process for international students especially those who already hold degrees in different subjects. I am unable to phone on the number provided on website due to being out of the USA and my phone contract having very expensive international calls and can’t find an email address to ask these specific questions.
Any help appreciated.

I would suggest getting a US phone number from Google Voice, Dingtone, or TextFree. These range from free to extremely cheap. This would allow you to call UMPI directly to ask your questions. I don't think they're in the office today because it's still summer but they should be available on Monday.

Any help appreciated. Why not do a masters? I think with your degrees and experience, you could do the UMPI fairly quickly and be in same price range as doing a US undergrad in

Certificate for the Study of Capitalism at University of Arkansas finished July 2022
MBA with Hellenic American University started March 29th, 2021 , finished May 20th 2022, Graduated in June 2022
BSBA at Thomas Edison State University started May 21st 2020 with Sophia and SDC, finished Jan 24th, 2021, Graduated on 12 March of 2021
Total time to complete both degrees 2 years exactly, total cost just a small bit over $10,000
Thanks Degreeforum!

The master's is nowhere near as fast as the BA. The BA is $1400 per term and MA is $2000 per term.

I did consider the Masters, it looks like it will be quite a bit more expensive for me with the timescale I’m looking and due to the specialisation of my other qualifications I decided that the BABA would be more suited to my exact personal circumstances, thanks for the suggestion tho.

I'm a dual British citizen based in South Africa and I did my entire bachelor with UMPI from South Africa. I never needed any sort of American number as I kept my correspondence with UMPI entirely through email and had no issue. Hope it all works out for you.

Is there a public available email for people who aren’t yet students but considering becoming that I’m missing somewhere on the website? That would solve a lot of the issues in terms of contact.

From what I can recall I filled out the request information form on the UMPI website, even though my international info couldn't properly fill out the form field perfectly, and then I was contacted by a rep. They asked if I wanted to do a call during the application process but I explained my international status and there was no issue.

Hi. You can contact them at umpi-admissions@maine.edu - that's the general email on their homepage when you click "Contact us". When they start sending you communications, their email is from info@e.online.umpi.edu - you can cc them as well.
