Information Technology vs cybersecurity

My Missouri state university is changing the name of the graduate program from computer information system to Information technology. I want to know which graduate program is better the information technology vs cybersecurity.

Technically, it won't really matter as your major is in MBA or Business Administration, your concentration or focus would be in IT. Information Technology is a broader field, Cybersecurity is a subset or a sub field within Info Tech, so, if you want to "further" concentrate in an area of IT, then choose Cybersecurity, if you just want a broader knowledge of IT, then leave it as it currently is....MBA concentration in IT vs MBA concentration in IT with focus in Cybersecurity.

Hi Bjcheung77, I appreciate for your value opinion. I will do MBA in IT. I will be taking some recognize cybersecurity certifications. If I take MBA in IT i can graduate faster because I do not need to take one more course. I will contact my counselor to change to information technology.
