Ok, I've been working on my degree for nearly two years now. I'm really close, but the last few months I've been loosing my focus. I've really enjoyed the experience of testing out of my degree-- but I am so ready to be done with this!!
Anyway, if I've figured right I have three more upper Level tests to take, and these are my choices:
Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union
Lifespan Developmental Psychology
Organizational Behavior
Drug and Alcohol Abuse
Of the other DSST and CLEP upper level tests, I've either already taken them or (in the case of Money and Banking) don't want to take them. So, of these four tests which three should I take? Is there one I should absolutely avoid? And is there an order I should take them in?
Also, any encouraging words would be good to. I'm so close to the finish line, I don't know why it's so hard to get myself across it!!!
Thanks y'all!! You've been so much help!!

Organizational Behavior and Drug and Alcohol Abuse are both very doable IMO.
I know how you feel, and I can also tell you that it feels very good to get it over with. Schedule the exams and it will be over before you know it.
Good luck,
Brian

I took Organizational Behavior a few weeks ago and it wasn't bad at all. I have taken ECE Foundations of Gerontology and have started to study for the Lifespan exam and it doesn't seem like it will be that difficult either. I can't help you with the other two. I'm not a history buff and I couldn't take Substance abuse because I couldn't use it. I hear it isn't bad though, just be careful to review the specific feedback. If history is your thing I would think the other wouldn't be too hard. You couldn't pay me to take it though! Just focus on the end. I find that if I schedule the exams I have something to work towards to I have to focus. Good Luck! It is hard when you get so close and excited! Keep up the good work! You can do this!

I would definitely take Organizational Behavior. I spent around three hours studying before I took that test and it went very well.
I have taken Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union and did fine. I absolutely love history, so studying was fun for me. However, I was scared as I was actually taking the test... It was difficult... you need to know the information. But if you study well, it shouldn't be too bad.
I haven't taken the others, so I can't tell you which three would be best.

I've taken and passed Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union; Organizational Behavior and Drug and Alcohol Abuse. For me, I found the R&F of the SU requiring much more study time. I love history so it was a pleasure.
I understand your feelings about wanting to be finished and the difficulty with staying motivated. I'm taking my last two exams during the next couple days.
Best wishes,
-Terry

I would go for the easiest ones first to give yourself a break and get closer to graduation.
Of the more advanced ones, I would take Gerentology and Psyc of Adult and Aging if possible. They have much overlap, and you study for both of them at once.
You are sooo close, slow down the pace if you must but do not stop!!
Also, you may want to switch training methods. I got tired of IC and switched to the REA clep books for a while. It helps break up the monotony a bit.
EC - BSLS Finally done!
Went from 86 to 120 credits in six weeks thanks to IC and the forum.
Currently doing MBA pre-reqs.
Now BSLS + 9 credits

Organizational Behaviour should be your first one. I found it to be relatively easy, though your experience may vary.
Looking at the exams you've already passed, I'd then recommend Lifespan Developmental Psychology. You already have a lot of psych exams out of the way, so you may find that one easier. Lastly, I'd say go for the Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union. I say that only for how many history exams you have taken. I'm asuming you enjoy the subject.

I haven't taken any of the the exams you listed, I just wanted to offer you support. I agree with the others, maybe taking an "easier" exam first will help with motivation. You're so close- best of luck and we're all rooting for you!

Congratulations to being so close. Whatever you decide it will work out fine. You have been diligently working towards this goal for two years and I know that you will finish up with no problem. Just make a choice and go with it.

Thanks, y'all!! I feel so much better about the next few tests!! I've been dragging my feet about it for a long time now, mainly because I thought I had four really hard upper-level tests left. Finding out that I only have three left--and then discovering that they aren't all "really hard" ones has been such a boost of morale!!!
I think I'm going to start with Organizational Behaviour for the encouragement factor, and then I might tackle whichever remaining one looks hardest, just to get it out of the way (I can't wait to think "it's all downhill from here!"), and then wrap up with my last two and on to enrollment!
