Sorry about reviving this old thread, but I notice there aren’t any posts about verifying the veracity of Mexican universities. As some regulars on the forum know, I have shared info about public and private Mexican universities that are always accredited.
Public universities do not require a RVOE number, but some public universities like UVEG have RVOEs for their degrees. The UNIVIM has something similar for state of Michoacan registries for their degrees.
Private universities forcibly need RVOE numbers.
The links below can be used to determine accreditation status of Mexican universities. Some schools are registered in other states from their campus.
