Hugo,
Why don't you try taking practice exams on this DOD site to gauge yourself before you take the next exam. They are free also.

I'm going to ask this in a sensitive tone - which is hard to do when you are only reading typed words- but you're not studying are you? I'm highly suspicious of your attachment to the pass rate, and your reaction to the free practice exams. I could be wrong....
I'm sure you might find a few people here who pass tests cold, but the overwhelming majority of people here would like to help you study so you can pass 100% of your exams. See the link in my siggy- people who PREPARE here- pass.

I can testify to that. IC is awesome!
But really, figure out how much time you spent preparing for the other tests, and add, say, 30% more time to your prep for the next one. And take practice tests. Practice tests are your friends.
BTW: That DoD site is going in my favorites. I have a feeling I'll be coming back there a few times...

I though this statement was really funny...and very true in all sense "WHAT is your plan with these tests? Drugs and Computers do not mix well and have nothing to do with each other"
It's just a Temporal set back Pick up your self and move one, I know the feeling, be patient with your Self

[QUOTE=YokotaJo]Hugo Hugo Hugo Honey.... WHAT is your plan with these tests? Drugs and Computers do not mix well and have nothing to do with each other. Unless you are just trying to grab a few random credits here and there, that is no way to plan your tests.
You need to batch them together so you are studying similar topics. Drugs is a tough one to start with because it builds on several other tests. So if you have any other psych exams you need to take them all together so they all overlap.
There are all kinds of thread on the easiest CLEPS to take but you need to have a plan. I need 10 random exams to grab my last 30 credits to get my degree in XXXX. OR..... I have no idea what I want so I am just starting to test. OK great but make a plan of what goes together.
My own opinion but no matter how much I loved Astronomy- I would try something easier unless you already have a good foundation on the info. But hey, if Astronomy is your thing...then study that and another exam that overlap or goes together with it. Get some momentum.
Step back and jump out of the fire for a moment. Make a list of what you need, what your options are and the easiest way to get it. My first degree plan has writing all over it and has so many highlights on it you would think it was tie dye (or that I was on bad acid). I am going to frame it right above my BA that should be in the mail any day now.

I found it a bit funny as well lol. I found this 2 year oldthread where people took astronomy and what to study for. I got off work to write them down and I want to say the thread got deleted o.o.
Despite the warnings Im still going to go with astronomy.. maybe prove you all wrong in a good way
Thanks again to all!

Hola Hugo- Look at all the excitement you have generated with us building you back up and pushing you back into the deep end of the pool! We were not about to let a live one get away just because you had a rough go of it at the start!!
Ruddigore is right... OVER study for the first tests. I am sure I drove everyone crazy on this board when I was prepping for my first test. I was a wreck and studied studied and studied some more. I was so worried that I was going to come home and have to tell my family that I did not pass. I even took the test one day earlier than I had planned "just in case". I figured I could pack a bag and leave a note and be back to the US before anyone realized that I had not passed. Nothing like being planned for any outcome!
Once I sat down to take the exam I knew I was as ready as anyone could ever be. It was great to leave the testing center with a good score and knowing that it was all downhill from that point on. The next tests I had a better feel on what I needed to pay attention to and what was just extra info. Even now, I am studying for a totally different set of exams (Praxis 1 & 2 for teaching) and I will think "oh that sounds like something that they will put on the test" ...after a while you can just tell what the exam is going to have. Plus the feedback board is priceless.
HEY -- after all of my babbling post I am appreciated!!!! I am so glad that everyone thought my drugs and computer line was funny. Now if I can ever be promoted past Senior Squire, I will really know that I have arrived on this board!
Carry on Hugo and prove us all wrong with your assault of Astronomy !!
