IT Management Degree

I was just speaking with my nephew and he had mentioned his interest in pursuing a degree in IT Management. I was wondering what your thoughts are on the field of study.

IT management should only be a graduate degree. At the undergraduate level, you need to learn technical skills. You need experience to manage an IT department or company.

TESU has a BSBA with a CIS concentration. WGU has a BS in Business with a concentration in IT Management. Generally Managenement Information Systems programs are technical with some business courses. Also, look closely at Computer Information Systems programs because some will have business courses included while others are all technical.
