I would like to know if anyone knows Tech University?
#1
Question
Hi guys, lately I'm interested in doing a course and broaden my knowledge in Copywriting and I'm looking for a cheap and distance learning alternative.

I have seen a university called Tech Univesity but I don't know anything about them. Do you have any experience studying at Tech or any other information that could be useful to me apart from what it says on their website. Thx!

@OP, it's great you're asking questions but you're not providing us any details to help you at all... You really need to provide extra details within your post so we know which institution and what you're really trying to do, an overall picture of your scenario or something like filling in the addendum or template, is it this institution here? It´s like Sophia, EuroInnova/INESEM, ENEB:

Text

Just a few very short videos per module (1 or 2, with videos of maybe 2 minutes "presenting the topic" and another one of maybe 7-12 minutes covering the topic). Then the main pdf of the topic would be badly written (I took 2 courses written in Spanish).

The exams are all multiple choice asking questions directly from the main pdf.

I got a deal where each course was USD$ 100, and I think that it shouldn´t have costed more than USD$ 50.

You get your certificates with grades and the ECTS credits.

You get signed up to the courses fast (in one day probably), and you get your final certificate very fast, maybe 2 weeks after finishing your course.

The modules are not open all at once, but they release them gradually according to some calendar.

In addition to that, in order to be able to see the next topic, you have to pass the test of the previous topic.

In most tests you have 2 chances, I have seen some tests with only one chance, but maybe it was some technical glitch.

The first and second chance show the exact same questions in the same order. You don´t get to see the correct answers after taking the exams, but at least you will know which were wrong.

I didn't study anything related to Copywriting but I did study at university. My experience was positive, I had the materials available to study whenever I wanted and that allowed me to study at my own pace.

Interesting. I wonder how a Master's degree will be evaluated by WES and the other evaluators.

You are apparently on the hook for the tuition for the whole degree program once you start, and they don't give refunds. That sounds pretty predatory to me. Too bad if you don't like the program or find you can't cut it.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

At the bottom of the programs' pages, there is a button that says "view diploma". On the generated sample we read "TECH is a Private Institution of Higher Education recognized
by the Ministry of Public Education...". What that means, however, I have no idea.
