I know it was the easiest CLEP to take, but I had the morning off, so I just took & passed the Analyzing and Interpreting Literature and passed with a 69. I think it would have been higher if I was more familiar with poetry, but I am so thrilled that I passed!!!
I was very nervous since it's been many many years since I took an exam, not to mention they didn't use computers back then.
I think I'll do the Eng. Comp next (with essay since most places require it, and I think I read that you don't get a choice anymore). Off to read more about that CLEP.

Congrats on your acheivement and give yourself some credit for passing. I have to take this one as well and know that it will be challenging. My point is that what may seem easy for you is not for someone else, so the fact that you have passed is a great accomplishment.
The first one is always good, I must warn you that testing is more addicting than drugs, I think it's based on the pleasure principle.

Thanks guys!
I think I am beginning to see what you mean about addiction! I need to get a unofficial credit eval from TESC so I can figure out what I need to take vs what I'd want to take I am already making a mental list of what looks interesting to me! LOLOL. Otoh, is it depressing if a person fails? Or do we just pick up, study for the next one and retake the failed one in 6 months without getting to caught up in the failure?
I may have to start a new thread with a few specific questions so that I don't have to wait until I get the TESC one done.

Awsome job!!!! Congrats!!!!! I'm scared to take this one myself. You can't really do much to prepare for it, and when I have taken practice tests I haven't done real well, I love to read and THOUGHT I kind of had a clue about it all but I"m starting to think maybe I don't!!! So job well done, you'll catch on to this a lot easier then you think you will. Keep up the good work.

Don't worry too much Mindy! I think I read into some of the questions too deeply since I was so worried about it. Just make sure you brush up a little on the different types & meanings of poetry. That would have made my time easier!

Btw, as far as addiction, I'll bet this forum is addictive too. I already find myself spending quite a bit more time here than I anticipated hilarious

Good job! And don't sell yourself short, many people do NOT pass A&IL.
