Since some folks here may actually know a thing or two about computer networking, etc., I am posting my issue in hopes that someone has an answer that our tech support does not…
A few weeks ago, my work did a migration to a new server. In the process, my Mail and Calendar disappeared. (The windows version). I want THAT mail and calendar. Yes, I can use Outlook to get my emails, but I don’t like it. And I want the notifications in the lower right corner that seem to only work with the Windows mail and calendar. It’s instrumental in keeping organized. I can google search it and download it, but it disappears every single day. So every day I have to re-install and set up everything.
We have two different tech support companies. One that has been doing the migration and our regular one. I have called both several times. Neither one knows what the problem is. My best guess is some sort of permission.
Is there anyone here who might have some suggestions that I can give them when I call again? I have zero faith that they can figure this out.

Do you have (other) files that persist across multiple days? That is, if you download a silly cat meme, is it still there the next day but the program is gone?

Pretty much everything is saved to One Drive or Google Drive. I could probably try to find something to test out. I know this is a small thing, but it is driving me crazy. Really considering just using my own personal laptop, but I also don’t want to mix work and personal.

I would suggest getting something small and inconsequential, even just a text file, to test with. If you can install it but it goes away every night, it sounds like they've got it set up to do nightly wipes/rollbacks of the computer. If it were a permissions issue, I don't think you'd be able to install anything at all. It just wouldn't work in the first place.

Was trying to find something in the Windows store to install, but most everything is locked down. I have to find something they “own” that I can download. It looks like most everything is mapped to one drive. Even my downloads folder
Yup…. I need administrator approval to move a simple puppy picture to my C drive
