I have been studying the Instantcert flashcards for about a week now. But I am a little confused. There are five sets, three in the first section and two in the second section. I am taking the test with essay, so do I need the second half? From what I read it didn't seem like I needed that secton, but I want to make sure!
Thank you!

Hi Tiffy. I'm going to have to say yes, you should study the second part along with the first. The differences between the essay and non-essay exam is broken down as such:
Multiple-Choice Only
- Skills at the Sentence Level - 55%
- Skills in Context - 45%
Multiple-Choice with Essay
- Skills at the Sentence Level - 30%
- Skills in Context - 20%
- Eassy - 50%
You'll find the same types of multiple choice questions on both, just less on the essay version.
This info was taken from the CLEP Study Guide.
Good luck!
