Hello everyone!

I just wanted to share that I passed my final DSST exam, Intro to Computing, today...with a 471!!! Praise the Lord! I'm very excited, and so thankful for His grace and strength, because He is the one who has guided me throughout this journey. This was my final CBE test, and I'm both happy to have accomplished all this and sad to be done. It's thrilling to study so hard, take a test, and walk out with more college credit to your name! I now have 54 credits earned through testing. Now on to 20 credits from a community college, and hopefully, by God's grace, I will have my A.S. in Business Management degree by the end of the Spring semester (2014). I have learned so much about alternative college options over the past couple of years, and the Associate's will be my first step in gaining a college degree debt-free. I have some work left as I would eventually like to get a B.A. in Music, but this has been a wonderful journey.

Thank you all for your help, advice, and encouragement!! This forum is one of the best resources I've found! And it's exciting to hear all of your stories too. Smile I'll stick around the forum to hear what's going on, and help in any way I can because I love to share what I've learned!

Great job! I know what you mean. I've completed 66 CBE credits in the last year, with only one test left to take for my degree. It's a little sad to know I won't be studying for and passing these tests any more after this.

I'm also getting my BA in Music, so all I have left is the Music Concentration. Where do you hope to get your BA from?
