Whats my next step towards TESC?
#1
So i am just finishing up a final lab at my CC and will hopefully pass my US History I Clep next Tuesday. After that i should have my AS Degree from that CC (Give or take 1 more Clep).

Anyways i am curious and a bit lost as to what my next step is.
My plan is to go to TESC for BSBA General Management while also picking up an AAS. From what i know, i need an evaluation to see what courses i need to take but i remember reading somewhere that i have to apply within 6 months of evaluation or i pay again? also heard there are things to do before that evaluation to save me time and money, which i believe is the degree path thing on forums.

I currently have about 60 CC credits, 2 Cleps (1 pending) , and a handful of FEMAs completed.

What would be my next step?
I think more specifically i need help with
-Posting a degree plan on the forums
-An explanation of how the evaluation process works.
-And, anything else i seem to be missing or not know.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

First, you apply and send in all of your transcripts so that TESC can evaluate your credits. You have 6 months after you're accepted into the college to enroll either under the Enrolled Options Plan or Comprehensive Tuition Plan. If you do not enroll within 6 months, you will have to apply and send your transcripts again. If you want to take the chance, don't apply until you've finished most of the degree program. Definitely do not enroll under the Enrolled Options Plan if you don't plan to finish the degree within a year or you'll have to pay the expensive enrollment fee again.

This is a degree plan I made for the BSBA in General Management.

Search "wiki" in this forum. You'll see a wiki created by a member with LOTS of information. One of the things you'll find is degree plans from TESC for BSBAs that forum members have created.

While I have LOADS of credits, I only applied recently. During the period that your application is viable, they'll do two evaluations of your credits. If I were in your shoes, I might hold off on applying. I'd look at plans, see what I need, and test as much as possible. Then, when I was close to getting everything that I needed, I'd apply. Then, enroll. Regardless of what you do, good luck.

I'd do the same exact thing as LaterBloomer just stated.

This is a well vetted plan....use the info on this site to build a road map and get nearly everything done before applying at TESC. 100+ credits completed would be about right.
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.
