I'm Done! I'm Done! I'm Done!

Yes, it will feel this good when you are done too! I completed 91 credits through testing in 6 months: I began in August '09 - had to take a forced break through Sept, - and ended yesterday, March 2, '10. I COULD NOT have done this without InstantCert. I will keep spreading the word about this site, and hope that you do as well.

I completed 3 years of college in the 80's as a Psych Major up in Humboldt County, California. All these years later, only about a years worth of credits transferred to me (long story), so I had to find a way to zip through my Sophmore/Junior/Senior year of college fast and relatively inexpensively. My goal is to get my MA and likely my Phd. in Psych.

This self-study process is great for someone like me. I was always ahead of the class in college, which is one of the many reasons I dropped out before graduation.

I recommend that folks new to this process plot out a clear path to their goal along with a timeline. I suggest that you get help from the college you will be graduating from early on in the process because otherwise you may take a test/study for the wrong test, and not take advantage of something like taking the GRE to test out of many required classes. All of these things happened to me along my way, but I still kept my eye on the prize, and I MADE IT!

Whooooo-Hoooooo!!!!!

I can't tell you how great it feels to wake up this morning and not have to study or take a test in between taking care of family, relationships, running my business, working out, etc. I feel like things got shoved to the back burner and now I need to focus back on health/fitness, business/finances, realtionships, writing.

I hope that all who use this forum give back as much as possible. Pay it forward - it only makes sense.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who came before me and helped pave the way. I couldn't have done it without you.

Grats! I'm jealous.. I still have a few months to go.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.

Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully

Thank you, Daniellevine and PonyGirl93!

The first thing I did yesterday was to get an hour-and-a-half Thai massage. My body was so tense from all of the hours sitting at a computer and studying, and my testing days - usually two tests per day - really took a toll.

The way I will celebrate is basically by having more time to devote to the things I need to. I'm in a new-ish relationship and hope to have more time to spend with him. I want to get back to working out more - I used to go on long hikes about 5 times a week, but in the past month, I haven't because my back was spasming due to trying to fit too much into too little time.

In April I will go to Kyoto, Japan for a vacation, and in July when I attend Excelsior's graduation in upstate New York, I will visit friends from Manhattan and Philly to DC and Maryland.

Today I have a sore throat, and will eat garlic, vitamin C, give myself a facial, and rest. cheersmate

Congrats!!! Facials and thai massages, sounds so LA. My massages here consists of a family member doing karate chops to my lower back and saying, "You're good to go!":ack: . On a serious note, you accomplished so much in so little time, intense and extremely impressiveWink .

Haha, Taylor, you're right, it does sound LA - but I am originally from Chicago, and proud of that fact! I NEED the massages - I was in a bad car accident, and had a board fall on my head a few years ago - so along with daily doing another 'LA' thing, yoga (actually just my own version of stretching), I can keep my back from seizing up!

My 'facial' takes 10 minutes and I do it myself. I've never had a mani-pedi, or ever had anyone dye my hair. So, it all evens out! Big Grin

In fact, though, I should say that I actually worked as a Massage Therapist on feature film-sets around the country for over 10 years --- now THAT is very LA!
