Ok, so I am 3 credits away from having my BA degree. All I need is a 300 or 400 elective. My problem is that I have already taken the Principles of Mgmt and Principles of Mrkting CLEP and failed them both (one within 5 points and the other withing 3 points). So the only other CLEP that I can take is Introduction to Educational Psychology. I checked with my advisor and I am also able to take a Dantes Test that would fulfill an upper level elective. So I need advice on what to take. I don't want to waste my time or money anymore on tests that I am going to fail, not that I am failing them on purpose, just that I don't want to be a pro at taking them either. I am planning on taking my time with the next test though, maybe 1-2 weeks to make sure I do well. So if anyone can help, please advise if I should take the Introduction to Educational Psychology or suggest an easy 300/400 Dantes and what study material to used. Thanks
P.S. I used the REA book for Marketing and looked over some other websites. I have heard many talk about Instacert, but a afraid to try this out because I used only Speedyprep for the Mgmt Clep. If the Instacert flashcards are as good as people say they are then I would rather pay the $20 rather then $100 for more tests.

Could you take Principles of Supervision? I just took this one and it wasn't that hard. BTW...Instantcert.com is wonderful.

Are you sure that your school will take CLEPs as UL credit? All the CLEP tests are ACE recommended as lower level (100/200) credit. The only UL credit tests would be the DSSTs and some schools won't take the refreshed DSSTs as UL credit at this time.

Yes, the Principles of Mgmt and Principles of Mrkting CLEPs count as 301 courses at the university I attend. The Intro. to Educational Psychology CLEP counts as PSY-423 course. As far as the DSSTs below are the ones I can take and what they count as at my university.

The InstantCert flashcard system is as good as people say. It's a great way to help prepare you for the test (though you should generally supplement it with other sources).
I've heard that the Management Information Systems (MIS) DSST is one of the least challenging Upper Level exam. I recently took Intro to World Religions (UL credit at most schools), which I believe is doable in 2 weeks with some diligent study.

Thanks Ruddigore, I will definitely consider the Intant Cert flashcards. I will also checkout the Management Information Systems (MIS) DSST, but I am not sure how I will do in that subject. I'm getting my degree in Criminal Justice so maybe I'm safer taking Intro. to Law Enforcement or Substance Abuse. I'm just not sure how difficult these DSST tests are.

Intro to Law Enforcement in my opinion would be the easiest for you. Maybe a light review of your intro to criminal justice textbooks. Its counted as a 100 level free elective for my school (TESC); so if you can get upper level credit for it....go for it!!! What school are you attending? Do they accept ALEKS courses for credit?

I have taken several of both DSST and CLEP and I really don't think one is harder then the other. I am studying now for CLEP Educational Psychology, from what I can see so far if you have a few psychology courses you should be able to do this one.

I am attending Saint Leo University. I think the only exams they accept are CLEP, DSST, AP, and Excelsior. Thanks for the Law Enforcement link, I'm gonna check that out.
