First time cleper
#1
hey guys im thinking about taking Principels of Managment and Principels of Marketing for my first two clep tests i only need three. i just wanted to know if anyone who has taken them has any pointers on what to study. I havent signed up for the $20 month membership yet but i think i might for the IC cards. I saw the thread going around for easiest clep tests using only IC but i thought i would ask anyway. Any feedback is greatly appretiated.THANKS

This is a great place to study and learn about each of the different Clep tests! I highly encourage you to sign up for Instantcert and use the flashcards. Once you have signed up, you will also be able to access the "Specific Exam feedback" concerning each test. This is a place where other testers have posted their thoughts and feedback on that particular CLEP! There is a knowledge of information in there and can be crucial to knowing what to expect for a test! Also utilize the search function at the top of the page and read what others have posted.

I took these two tests and used the REA books for both! I recommend them and of course Instantcert flashcards. They are amazing! Smile I know you will do great! Let me know if I can help in any other way!

both exams are pretty easy. if you've ever worked in a professional environment, management will be easy.

If any credit will do, and you can read novels and poetry, take analyzing and interpreting literature. All you have to do, for the most part, is read excerpts and answer questions about them.

Get the "Idiots guide" to them, IC is super for both these - also go to Wikipedia and download and print anything that resembles a buzzword and its explanation. Bring your brain to the exam and you"ll be fine.

If you are going to take the two that you have mentioned, I used the REA book and the Instantcert flashcards for Managment, and passed with a good score. I am doing the same right now for Marketing, and it seems that the two overlap a good bit.
