I'm finally done!!
I received word today from Excelsior that I scored a "B" on Social Psychology. This completes my course requirements; Excelsior will send me my diploma next month.
I wanted to express my appreciation to the members of this forum for their constant support and encouragement, and to Steve for cranking out those valuable IC study guides; simply put--without IC, this would not have happened.
Now for the new news, I have decided to follow in Brian's footsteps and am enrolling in California Coast University to earn a Master's of Science in Psychology; I should start my first course next month once Excelsior gives them my degree transcript. It is a good general degree that will work for me as a manager, plus put a few more dollars in my pocket as well.
After all the whining I did about education being a business....there is no end to my hypocrisy.:o It seems my basket weaving days are not yet done

I was on the phone with them today, prodding them to get it to me in the next 2 weeks. I want to start the other program so she said she'd expedite it; if you want, I can send you a picture of what it looks like.....

Lee, that is awesome news! And going on for your masters! I'm delighted to hear it. You've got a great mind and good leadership qualities. It would be great for you to keep going. Big change from where you started! You definately need a new nickname. hilarious

Congrats! Are you going to try and challenge any of the Masters prgram courses? Some of these courses/exams you have already studied for at the undergrad level. Imagine if IC could get you through some graduate level challenge exams! That would be EPIC!hilarious
From California Coast:
"You can begin your MS in psychology program at any point during the year and work at your own pace. This course requires a total of 39 semester credit units comprised of 10 core courses in behavioral sciences and either a master's thesis or the completion of the following courses: alcohol/chemical abuse, psychology of aging and group psychotherapy.
Your study guide is a valuable tool through this course and
challenge exams and transfer of credit are also options."
