I AM DONE!!! My Masters is COMPLETE!!!!
#1
Sorry for the absence these last weeks but I have retired from the military, moved to the States, and as of tonight (drum roll please) have finished all requirements for my Master's Degree in Human Resource Management with CCU. I cannot tell you how good it feels to be done. I finished my last test in November but still had 9 essays to write...the move really cramped getting them done any earlier. I was told by CCU that I will graduate with a 3.87, not too bad for finishing in six months. Off course I will have to wait until the end of March to get the degree...like I'm going to complain about that.Big Grin

I'd like to throw a couple of special thank yous out:

First to Shotojuku for his constant encouragement in getting me started in this program as well as along the way.

And secondly to KIWILOVER who was a strong ally in both encouragement and writing advice...it would have been difficult without her help.Smile

Before anyone asks....NO I'm not going for a doctorate. I AM going for a beer right now and taking my son out to the park tomorrow. My Dad and I bought a boat so we're going to be doing some fishing as well. I also bought a beautiful home here near the lake so a little relaxation is in order...at least for a week or two then it’s back to planning our future here.

I'll still be around to answer questions and pitch in where I can to this great site that gave me my start; I certainly am in good company.

Congrats on both your retirement and your graduation! Take it easy for a few days/weeks, it'll all still be here when you're ready to hit the ground running again.

Congrats once more!

Congratulations! Quite an Achievement!

Now that it's all over, can you give us a brief synopsis of your Bachelors and Masters program and experience for anyone looking for a similar path? Your information would be invaluable.

I know just how hard you worked for this degree, and I am so happy for you that you have finally made it to the end. I have to admit, though, that I was critiquing your post as if it were another essay, and I had to restrain myself from making any corrections. hilarious

Enjoy your time with the family and see if you can find something to do with yourself now that you have NOTHING to do... Rolleyes

Congrats again!

Hey Lee,

That seem to go by so fast (from my point of view anyway).

Congratulations!
