Aleks is not for free. You can have a free trial, but I don't expect that'll work for credit.

But ALEKS is only $20/month. Abd you can earn up to 9 credits (Algebra, trig and stats) do all 3 and you could get 9 credits for $20.

In addition to the ALEKS courses for 9 credits, I highly recommend the CSM Learn course for an extra 3 credits at $39. It'll hit either your Math/Stats or Quantitative Literacy requirement at TESU (that's me just assuming you're thinking of TESU vs COSC/Excelsior).

Just check once with TESU if Aleks has made it on their list of fully approved course providers. When I completed Aleks courses back in March this year, this new directory of course providers was just introduced on TESU’s website, and my heart skipped many beats before my advisor finally told me that my Aleks courses would be accepted as I had already preplanned them into my evaluation. Just make sure they don’t throw some last minute surprises.
