I would say that you should line up classes to do UMPI - that way, if they don't accept your Pierpont AAS because of the ACE credit, you can immediately enroll in UMPI and get your credits quickly that way.
But my guess is that they will take an AA/AS/AAS and not look too closely at where the credits came from.
