So I just took a DSST. Passed with 430.
I know 400 points are needed to pass, but with these sorts of tests, how many points are possible? Would be good to know my percentage so I know how closely I squeaked by.

500 points are possible. However, the score is not a direct representation of percentage of correctly answered questions. Rather, your score represents where you fell within the range considered to be an acceptable passing score (pretty sure DSSTs mimic CLEPs in that a C is considered good enough). This is adjusted by "difficulty" of the exam version, etc.
So, at least as far as I have been able to determine, the closer to 400 points (the minimum passing score for most universities) you score, the closer to a C you have achieved. The closer to 500 points, the closer to an A. All things considered, 430 was a pretty decent margin, likely akin to something around a B or B-.

Seeing that passing score presented on the screen is both exciting and rewarding, congratulations!
These documents should explain your questions.
