Both of my kids passed with scores of 51 and 50 using the REA book and also the practice test in the Official CLEP study guide. They found that practice test helpful and probably would have failed using the REA book alone.

I'm using InstantCert and the REA book. I've gotten 55% first time on each of the REA practice tests. Last time i did InstantCert I got 75% right. My problem is that I know in general everything that happened and the order it happened in. It's the small details like names, treaties, etc. I have a hard remembering. Crossing my fingers I'll pass. If I don't, I'll just do an online class with my college during winter break.

That sounds like you are doing great! The highest I ever got on the REA tests was a 46%.

Awesome! Thanks so much, that is definitely encouraging. Really nervous about taking it on Monday, don't feel anywhere near ready.
