freeclepprep rates it as the easiest CLEP of all next to CLEP Marketing. My then 17 year old prepped for it in about a week and passed with a nice score.

I think if you have a general idea of business, even an interest in this, you can pass it cold. That would be barely scraping by, but you would most likely pass.

I wouldn't put it as the easiest, but it definitely was in that general category.
I think I studied about a week and a half last July, and passed with a 52. I would suggest studying up to 2 weeks, unless you feel comfortable at 1 1/2. Only a week after this one, I took the similar Principles of Supervision DSST, and got a score of 428.

With IC this is a really easy exam, just don't do what I did.
I studied the wrong resources for this exam and I still passed. I got IC membership two days before I took the test and I freaked out when I went through the flashcards because I didn't recognize much material. I crammed on IC (first 2 sets only) the day before the exam and I passed (I think it's my lowest score so far). Anyway, sociology and marketing are the only two exams that are easier than 'principles of management' on my list. |
