freeclepprep rates it as the easiest CLEP of all next to CLEP Marketing. My then 17 year old prepped for it in about a week and passed with a nice score.
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I think if you have a general idea of business, even an interest in this, you can pass it cold. That would be barely scraping by, but you would most likely pass.

I wouldn't put it as the easiest, but it definitely was in that general category.
I think I studied about a week and a half last July, and passed with a 52. I would suggest studying up to 2 weeks, unless you feel comfortable at 1 1/2.

Only a week after this one, I took the similar Principles of Supervision DSST, and got a score of 428.

With IC this is a really easy exam, just don't do what I did.
I studied the wrong resources for this exam and I still passed. I got IC membership two days before I took the test and I freaked out when I went through the flashcards because I didn't recognize much material. I crammed on IC (first 2 sets only) the day before the exam and I passed (I think it's my lowest score so far).
Anyway, sociology and marketing are the only two exams that are easier than 'principles of management' on my list.
