I am planning to do another degree at COSC later this year, I'll report back about how that capstone differs.
Great work, 97 pages eh? Anyways, which degree are you going after at COSC?

Excelsior College HEM498 Capstone Writing (Fall 2017):
Discussions (16) = 7,257-words = 19 Pages
Discussions Reply’s (16) = 4,192-words = 11-Pages
Papers (4) = 8,430-words = 23-Pages
Total HEM498 Capstone Writing: 19,879-words = 53-Pages
Hmm, from reading that, it's comparable to a 53+ page capstone paper.
I did 2x the words that EC demanded. (A+ Grade)
The real EC standard was:
Discussions (16 x 250) = 4000
Discussion Replies (16 x 100) = 1600
Papers (4 x 1250) 5-7 pages each with APA stuff and pics = 5000
Total 10,600-words = 28-Pages broken down into 32 Discussions and 4 short papers. It's was NOT one large paper.

How do you give the "oral presentation" for the EC capstone? Do you make a video of yourself or record your voice or similar?

My EC Capstone did not require one.

My WGU capstone was 3 parts (proposal, statement of work and work completed). In total it was about 50 pages. No oral presentation required.

For the TESU BSBA Capstone (BUS-421), I did:
- 11 discussion posts (6337 words, 12 pages)
- 7 case study papers (46 pages @ 6-7 pages per)
- 1 final project (26 pages)
- plus one midterm exam, which had 4 short essays, which is probably another page or two.
So about 86 pages of writing in total. I probably could have passed the course with 50-75% of the effort, but I wanted an A in the course.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23

MBA (IT Management), 2019, Western Governors University
BSBA (Computer Information Systems), 2019, Thomas Edison State University

For the COSC BSBA capstone, I did weeks of discussion board posts, a small group project. One individual project. Then a final group project.
The first group project was a case study on the failing Sears & Roebuck. (I think there were three companies you could chose to write it on.) It ended up being 12 pages.
The individual project was an analysis of an existing business and then you write recommendations for improvements. (I wrote mine on the company I actually work for. Believe me, I had PLENTY of suggestions for improvement! That was easy!) It ended up being 16 pages.
Then the final group project was basically a complete business plan. It ended up being 22 pages. We made a mock business plan for a doggy daycare/grooming service which we located in a specific neighborhood of Manhattan according to some cursory demographics research.
There were six sections as required by the rubric. We divided up among the five people in my group. (Some groups had four. One group had three.) Since there were six sections and five people, I ended up taking on the extra floating section because somebody had to. In addition, there was one student who turned in something that was so far below what I personally felt to be acceptable material, that I politely re-wrote that almost from scratch as well. Also, there didn't seem to be enough peer-reviewed sources, so I re-write a few lines to different citations in other sections to cite a different source than wikipedia to hit the requirements. I wanted a 100. We got a 100. It was an incredible feeling of accomplishment. Worth the extra effort.

I completed the EC Capstone for my BSLA in 2016. At that time, the oral component was the voice over for your PowerPoint presentation.
EC Capstone requirements - 2016:
3 - 1250-1500 word papers
PowerPoint Outline
15-20 slide PowerPoint presentation with voice over
