The recommendation was found through an archived Y! question, I believe.

I was frustrated that I had to take (and pay for) courses for stuff I knew from the Navy. I did a search for "testing out" and came across CLEP. I initially was only going to use testing for the 30 credits my local college allowed, but then I found the greatness that is degreeforum and instantcert by doing a search for study help.

Goal: BSBA in CIS

I think this was recommended to me by Free Clep Prep. I signed up with some other online study guide for CLEPs, but it was nowhere near as helpful as this one was, with the forums included.

I'm a perpetual lurker, but I love the help and inspiration I get from everyone here! I now teach a community-based class on accelerating degrees through alternative credit. I am so passionate about helping get the word out in my town!!
CLEP: Sociology - 58 | Biology - 65 | College Composition (w/essay) - 61 | College Mathematics - 70

DSST: Environment & Humanity - 69 | Lifespan Developmental Psychology - 62 | Here's To Your Health - 440

BS - Maternal Child Health 12/2012 - Union Institute and University
Mulling over going for my MA/PhD in Sociology.....

My younger brother is a COSC grad from (I think) 2006, though I could be wrong on the year. He used the IC cards ONLY as his exclusive study guide and somehow found IC after stumbling across the bain4weeks site. He had never heard of the forum and I only found it because I was using the cards.

Glad I found this place!! It's truly changed my life Smile

It was BA in 4 weeks. It seemed like a pretty cheesy low budget type website but the information there was interesting. At first I thought it (IC) was some sort of cheeseball study guide that the guy was trying to sell. LOL Then I checked it out and here I am a month later with 6 math semester hours already finished and studying to take 25 exams this year-only using IC for the majority of them.

I found it by doing a websearch. I never saw it on BA in 4 Weeks and that's a website I've looked at for a long time, funny I missed it.
