Thank you for putting in the effort to post those Publius2k4. For the ones with concentration electives, I was told that is where the GRE would mostly apply. If they have the chance of duplicating credits, then they must have specific course equivalencies. I'm not interested in credit laundering. The designation I'm trying for accepts CBE as long as the test is recognized for credit by an accredited college.

I received an answer from Paul Morganti. He says the Biology GRE credits are listed as
Basic/Introductory - 6 credits
Intermediate - 9 credits
Upper - 9 credits.
Subject matter is not listed on the transcript. Since I don't know if that will be acceptable by the government office, I will just go ahead with my original plan of taking Uexcels and having them transcribed by TESC. I don't need any specific bio courses, but it will look better if they're transcribed normally e.g. BIO-XXX.

Saylor has an Intro to Molecular and Cellular Biology now through ACE (where it's listed as "The Saylor Academy").

This is a great find! It might overlap with CLEP Biology. In the CLEP Biology outline, 33% of the 6 semester hour test represents content in "Molecular and Cellular Biology."

I'm pretty sure it duplicates Intro to Biology I. With the Biology CLEP, I have credit for biology I and II.

Here is my plan for the 24 credits.
CLEP Biology (6) - Completed
Microbiology (3) - Needed from Straighterline or Uexcel
Anatomy and Physiology I and II (6) - Needed from Straighterline or Uexcel
Pathophysiology (3) - Uexcel
Basic Genetics (3) - Uexcel
The Science of Nutrition (3) - Needed from Straighterline, Uexcel, or TECEP
or
Bioethics (3) - Needed from Uexcel
After that, I will just need to pass CLEP Chemistry. I plan on having that transcribed by Central Texas College or San Antonio College for 8 credits because I need the labs for general chemistry I and II.

If you just need anything with a BIO prefix, there's also the TECEP BIO-208 The Science of Nutrition.
That plan looks challenging- good for you!

Oops. I meant to put the "Science of Nutrition," not the "Science of Biology." Need to change that.

I know you don't need labs, however, have you considered doing them anyway? I suggest that because you never know...somewhere down the line, you might need lab credit, and you probably won't be able to add them a la carte at that time. SL has the lab option for not much more $$
