So I'm trying to make the decision between registering for Medical Terminology TECEP, or dishing out the bigger bucks right away for an exam that I actually need, which would probably be Abnormal Psychology($230ish).
I wanna go the cheaper route, but I hate spending the $52 without taking the exam and getting the credit, so my question is, how difficult is it? Is it something that I could pass with 10 hours of study, having no medical background?

Are you a language nerd? There is a significant amount of Latin or Greek vocabulary that you might know if you like to dabble in languages. For instance, of or pertaining to the kidneys would be...? It's all multiple choice, so you might be able to guess at a lot of the ones that you aren't sure about and still get them correct.
With 10-15 hours of study, you may be able to pass.

True.
Also, if it helps, just consider the $52 to be an enrollment fee. It's cheaper than the enrollment fees at other colleges/universities, so it's not really a waste of money (IMO).
