I have looked at this degree with another forum member. It appears that the Gen Ed electives and Liberal Studies Area of Study need to be chosen from Humanities, Social Sciences, History, Natural Sciences and Mathematics categories. Be sure to find out, if your choices will work. (Is this how TESC listed them on your evaluation?)
Also, the UL requirements have changed for this degree in the Liberal Studies Area of Study section.
6 credits - 100 level
9 credits - 200 level
18 credits - 300 level

I see that you have looked at COSC, too. I don't know how your credits would transfer, but I wonder if you have looked at EC. Their BSLS would allow you to use 60 Applied Professional (free elective) credits.
Here is a template, which Alissa put together, for the BS in Liberal Studies at Excelsior:

Note: There is a new capstone course requirement for this degree and the GRE policy has changed.
NAP,
Thanks for your input. My previous degree plan was a bit of wishful thinking. Like I said, I was hoping to take the path of least resistance.
I went back and reviewed the CJ requirements at TESC. I think this is a much better fit for me based upon occupation, past education, credit requirements.
I would appreciate any recommendations you might have.
Thanks for the help
