My evaluation came back today.. well most of it anyway.

InstantCert Managerial Accounting - ??? ??? ???
InstantCert Business Ethics - BUS 205 Intro to Business Ethics & Society

Sophia Principles of Finance - FIN 200 Principles of Finance
Sophia Business Law - LAW 201 Business Law

No word yet on the InstantCert Managerial Accounting. I will give it another day or two and then reach out to TESU.

I didn't have to reach out to anyone at TESU.. I just logged into my account to see that they updated my evaluation from yesterday.

InstantCert Managerial Accounting: ACC-312 Financial Accounting II

I am very glad that they brought it in as an upper level course!

But I think I may see an issue. They put it in my evaluation in place of ACC-102 Principles of Managerial Accounting in the Core Professional Business Requirements Accounting section. I was hoping they would have put it in the General Management AOS - #1 Accounting section which requires upper level coursework. I'm wondering if I take the lower level ACC-102 somewhere, if it would fill the Core section requirement and bump the InstantCert course up to the AOS..

If you take the lower level Managerial Accounting it will be treated as a separate course.  That is how they do things at TESU.  For example Principles of Finance or Project Management can come in twice, one as lower level and one as upper level depending on where you take it.

However, the question is will the ACC-312 Financial Accounting II count as the Advanced Managerial Accounting in the AOS which is something you should ask TESU.  That is a new course, you are probably one of the very few that have taken that one so far.

I remember reading somewhere courses usually come in AOS first, then core, then GE.  So the fact it didn't come in your AOS leads me to believe it won't.

Hi OldManOfTheSea! Do you have any updates on the InstantCert Managerial Accounting equivalency to TESU on whether if it works as the BSBA GM AOS Upper Level? Or is it just for the lower level Principles of Managerial Accounting requirement? Thanks!!

After getting some great advice in May from the forum I knocked out 8 courses on Sophia and pushed my credit count to 95 for a TESU BSBA/GM. Feel like the end is in sight. Questions I am hoping someone can help me with:

• I see Sophia added Business Law and Principles of Finance. Any word on if TESU is excepting it?
  
• Attaching my plan. Any recommendations on easiest way (Doesn’t have to be cheapest) to knock out my last two AOS and get another UL? I already have 9.
  
• Any advice in general on knocking out the others quickly? I have done well on CLEP/DANTES but Sophia has been my favorite. I already enrolled for CIL and the Capstone at TESU
  

I really wish I didn’t take a 4+ year hiatus from getting my degree. Knocking out 8 classes over the last couple of months has me energized.

Hi ! I’m unsure if it’s already been answered but TESU accepted both of my principles to finance and business law from Sophia . I applied them to the BSBA degree in finance which is similar to yours so I don’t see why they wouldn’t accept it .
