History Of U.s. I
#1
Hi everyone. I'm taking my history of u.s. I in a week and I'm kind of nervous about it...I didn't have time to read through the whole clep book I have on it, but I have gone through the instantcert cards. For anyone who's taken this clep, are the flashcards enough to give me a 50? Whether or not I graduate this semester is based on this...
Also, is the exam multiple choice and do they focus a lot on dates? What area should I focus the most on? Help! for anyone who has taken this clep exam...
thanks!

The test is certainly multiple choice. Are you a member of InstaCert? If so you can go to the Specific Test Forum and read all the opinions and even "WHAT TO STUDY" on the US History test!

Hi Jessica,

I cannot tell you about the flashcards because I did not use them, but I can tell you that the exam is all multiple choice and does not focus on dates.

I second the suggestion to check the Specific Exam Feedback section, and I would also suggest doing a search of the forums.

Hope this helps.

I agree, its better to review more than less. If you don't have time to study properly, you may end up with a score you're not happy with. It might be better to set aside the time to focus on studying or reschedule the test for a later date when your schedule is more free.

That's just my $0.02 anyway. Personally I'd kick myself if I wasted the time and money to take a test I wasn't prepared for, and then you have to wait 6 months (3 months for DSST) to try again.

:iagree: It is better to study and pass than to fail.
