Hmm... You need to take your time and review the advice that's provided and decide which route you want to go, LawShelf & NPC are NCCRS/NA credits you're looking at, the transfer will work for Excelsior, TESU, WGU but may not get transferred to others such as TAMUC or UMPI, it may work on a case-by-case basis, but a little risky there... Decide which is better.
With the info you provided, I recommend your best bets of TAMUC BAAS Organizational Leadership (or another concentration of your choice) or UMPI and their BABA offerings again with a concentration of your choice, the energy, money, time would be about the same. If you really want LawShelf classes, Excelsior/TESU would accept them into their BSLA or BALS...

Thanks BJ. I’m not interested in LawShelf and NPC at this time because of the amount of credits I already have. I was simply saying that it would’ve been a cool route to take earlier, before I took so many ALEKS/CLEP/DSST exams. I’ll check out the TAMUC website since I’ve never heard of them before. Thanks for the info

Good luck on this endeavor.
However, you don’t seem to understand the Law School Admission Council’s methods of scoring applicants. One’s GPA has very little influence on one’s admission into law school. With the exception of maybe the Ivy League schools, your LSAT score is far and away more important than your GPA. Don’t believe me? Fine. Not trying to be rude but you are misinformed and have added nothing to this thread as far as degree planning is concerned. Go check lsac.org and their law school acceptance predictor/calculator. Type in 148 for the LSAT score and then plug in a 2.0 GPA and look at the probability for admissions into any ABA school. Then swap that GPA for a 2.75 and watch how much things change… hardly, negligible in fact. And yes, since 2008 I’m a Supreme Court Interpreter and Expert Witness for the Spanish language in the states of Nevada and Utah. My letter grades and test scores for College-Level Spanish do not reflect my expertise in the language after living in Mexico for six years and attending Court Interpreter school… they reflect my attempt to learn Spanish in solely an academic setting before I moved to Mexico, married a native Spanish speaker and mastered the language.
Oh and P.S.
There are currently 17 ABA approved online JD law school programs, with more planned for 2024.

Man, this place has changed in the last 10-15 years. The number of people chiming in to random threads is quite honestly, obnoxious. I posted basically this same thread in 2009 under my old username and got nothing but support, great advice and wisdom. I post it again in 2023 and I get 50% good replies with advice and help and 50% negative and unnecessary replies.

Given the credits that I have listed above, do you have any idea, or know where I can find advice on which BA or BS program to apply to transfer into? Should I stay enrolled at TESU for the sake of perhaps a higher financial aid award, but then use TESU’s financial aid award to fund my YourPace session(s) and graduation fees at UMPI? I don’t have much money saved up at all to throw at my academic plan, so I am almost 100% dependent on federal financial aid. Thanks
UMPI YourPace offers BLS and BA degrees.
The BLS majors would make the most use of your previous credits since there is a large amount of free electives.
You can explore all the majors and choose the one that suits you best. Once you've selected a major, follow the degree plan.
For information on UMPI YourPace Majors, visit the UMPI website:
https://www.umpi.edu/yourpace/academic_programs/
For UMPI Degree Plans, check the Wiki page:
https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:UMPI
I suggest applying to UMPI and assessing how your credits transfer in, then completing the remaining required credits.
UMPI charges $1500 per 2-month session. Most individuals can complete 10 courses in 2 sessions, and some can finish 10 courses in one session, provided they study at least 20-30 hours per week.
Financial aid should easily cover all the costs.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

Sent from my iPhone using DegreeForum.net Considering that you would have to take 10 classes at UMPI anyways, could you end up with a History degree with just a few more Sophia courses and CLEP exams? I think a mistake I’ve made in the past is thinking, “Ugh, I just have to get to 120 credits.” In comparing degree programs for myself now, what I’ve realized is that they’re intentionally built to provide not just breadth but also depth of knowledge. Just picking classes here and there is a mistake I’ve made in the past. Depending on which option I take, I’m going to end up leaving credits on the table. And I just need to be at peace with that, it’s a sunk cost fallacy to try to use them even if they don’t fit with what I want to do now. And even though law schools don’t require specific majors to attend, might someone in admissions who’s reviewing a transcript view more favorably one where a plan came together in the end?

It can make a difference in some of the more competitive law schools’ admissions departments but most law schools tend to look favorably on unorthodox applicants like adults, regardless of their undergraduate major. (Source: my brother, a lawyer who worked in the admissions office at UOP McGeorge School of Law. “Diversity is king.”). My original plan for many years was to earn as many credits as I could through alternative methods and then piece together a Spanish degree. That later changed to Liberal Studies or whatever could be earned the fastest. Then I had kids, began a wonderful career as a Court Interpreter and a commercial voice actor and my college plans faded away.
History would be a great major for both applying to law school as well as serving to fulfill a greater sense of personal accomplishment. My only questions is, can it be done within the timeframe I’ve plotted out? I’ll have to do some reading and research. Thanks for the helpful Wiki link. Thee Wiki pages didn’t exist back in the day when I used to be on this forum (under a different username).

Update: I just found my most recent TESU transcript from last year after they stripped me of my FEMA credits and a few other courses that they had previously allowed to transfer in (back in 2009). Hope this helps anyone who is trying to figure out a degree plan at UMPI for me. Which lab science course should I take to fulfill UMPI’s requirements? Biology with lab from study.com or human biology with lab from Sophia? Which one is faster and/or easier? I really appreciate all your help and advice so far.
