Hi Ya! Im at work so can only type fast. Youre right about math and itll be a possible option to use outside of taking the actual courses. Yeah with preschool it was an idea because I work now for a school district so I have experience in the area. I work betweek office admin clerk and/or Paraeducator (Instructional Assistant). But I have heard preschool or private is too low of pay. Regular certfied teacing is a long loophope and our district is always laying off teachers not hiring. Esp Los Angeles USD. Budget...etc.
I can do math...but yes id have to take it. Especially since its been ages. Outside of that I enjoy school. No problem taking classes and leaening. I just wish I hadnt wasted my time with so many Theater classes.
Okay...the credits are full credits. Not quarter credits. I believe converted 90+ quarter credits. 60 credits is required in my college district to graduate. All from one college and all regionally accredited from the western one of the six regional accredited bodies. Or best all can be transfered to UCLA or Cal State University. I havent decided yet of tbe big 3 but its for sure one of the big 3 because of full online. Speech is an option. Liberal Arts/Studies Im mainly looking at. Im in a good job organization. A Unified School District. But...a BA/BS opens A LOT more doors. Esp sub teaching which does pay decent to well. ub teachers.

KayV Wrote:Welcome, Christopher, and good for you for thinking about long-term value of your degree. I can tell you that getting a bachelor's degree just to become a sub or a preschool teacher will not be worth the
return on your investment. It sounds like you think that a BSBA would be a good idea except for the math
component. Have you looked at the wiki and the boards here to learn about ALEKS math? You could use ALEKS to complete College Algebra and Statistics if you decide to do the BSBA.
If you are still wary of the math, what about a BA in Communications? If you used business classes to fill up your free electives, you would have a "portable" degree that would appeal to businesses. You could use ALEKS to complete Intermediate Algebra.
Before I put your classes into a degree plan, these were all semester hour credits and not quarter hour credits, is that correct?
