Right now I am studying the REA book and doing flash cards for intro to Psych. The flashcards on the IC seem pretty dang hard for me. A lot of the info in the REA book isn't in the flashcards. I wish them flashcards were multiple choice sometimes. Anybody have any advice? How well does the REA book do in terms of teaching you what to know for the CLEP by itself?

Have you checked "Specific Exam Feedback" ? Since you are a member you have access to that part of the forum. It has a ton of posts of what people recommend to study and what the test is like. I would also HIGHLY recommend that you take the free Peterson practice tests
here. Scroll down on that page where it says free practice tests and follow the directions. These practice tests are VERY close to the real thing. If you score well on the Peterson's you will be fine for the Clep.
