I wish I would have found this post before today. For anyone taking this test, ali4nia is on point about everything mentioned.
How in the world did you recall all of that info?

Can anyone give me a heads up on this test? I haven't tested in about one year, and this being my last class to pass, I want to get in and get out with as much ease as possible. I'm using IC and Pass your Class material, plus I'll review the material from the suggestions section within this site.
If you took the test - please provide some heads up material. I'm a little nervous about the test - at a time when my personal life is a bit off kilter.
Thanks,
Cal
I spent no longer than an hour studying for this test, and I only looked up the terms mentioned in this thread. I got a 67, with a minimum passing of 46, so I guess this is an A. If you are somewhat enviro-literate, you are half way there. Thanks to all that posted on this subject!

Thanks to ali4nia and Instant Cert!
I just took this Environment and Humanities and scored a 68. Passing was 45 and there were 104 questions. Sorry, but at 57 it takes me quite a while to study and get up the courage to take these but then do well, again thanks to IC and the postings here in the forum. I purchased a used text and used IC cards primarily but after reviewing the forums, googled for more clarification, watched videos online, and reviewed areas in textbook. Still had quite a few areas I did not remember studying (senior moments?). I always promised myself I would get a degree. I said I may be 80 before I finish but with IC it may be before I take SS .
This finishes the academic requirements for my A.S. in Health Services Management, now I have to complete 268 hours of "internship". Yup, I pay and someone gets free labor -- but I get the experience and 26 credits added when it is all said and done. Guess I can't complain.
THANKS again to all of you with good memories for posting these suggestions.

The info in this thread is dead on. I spent about an hour looking up whatever I did not know, and got an A. Thanks all!

If you are going to take this exam the post from "ali4nia" is spot on. I read a few books and what not but when I found this topic I studied the bullets and passed with ease in 35 min.
Good luck

Follow this thread and you will be fine. Much of Dantes/Clep/Excelsior testing has to do with test strategy. Watch out for nonsensical answers. There are often answers that contradict themselves, or answers that belong to other questions.
Do not dwell on questions that you are having trouble with. Mark them for review, and go back to them. There are typically 10 questions that can suck half of your energy. Leave them till last, and if you don't finish them all they will only have a small impact.
BEFORE MARKING THEM FOR REVIEW TAKE A STAB AT WHAT YOU THINK IS THE MOST LIKELY ANSWER, OR JUST RANDOMLY PICK ONE. Never leave anything blank, since you have a 25pct chance of getting it right.
I think I finished this test in around 40 minutes. By the time I got to the end I was confident that I got most questions correct so I never went back to my review questions.
Good luck, and let us know how ya do!
