Okay, so I am one of those military that is killing the new pass rates, but I need everyone to set all that aside and please HELP! :o I am one class (Financial Accounting) away from my degree and I deploy in a week. I thought I had everything but the maths I took didn't apply to this particular credit so I am stuck!!! I have been looking over Instantcert material, taking the Peterson's tests online for military and only getting 1/3 correct! My test center only offers the exams on Wednesdays, so that leaves me with the rest of this weekend, and oh yeah, I have to pack, study for an advancement exam, and make time for my family before I'm gone for 6+ months. You get the idea.... any suggestions?

I can help you with this. I just passed this test last week and not to scare you but it was a bear and I will do all I can to point you in the right direction.
I will post even more specific feedback to the "specific feedback" section for IC's paying members but this should get you started:
If you don't know anything about accounting run RIGHT out to Barnes and Noble (Amazon would be cheaper but you are under a time crunch) and get "The Accounting Game" by Darrell Mullis and Judith Orloff. It is a very easy read 174 pages, bold print, illustrated, and colorful pages at the end of which you will have an excellent foundation to build upon.
Get REA's book on the Financial Accounting CLEP with the cd of practice exams. Don't bother with the written practice exams at the back of the book because they are exactly the same as on the CD and the CD will better prepare you for this CLEP. Also don't worry about memorizing everything in this book but make sure you read the whole thing. It is 300 pages so I broke it up into 50 page blocks twice a day to make sure my brain didn't turn to mush.
If you already have a good grasp of how debits and credits work and the balance sheet then you can skip the "Accounting Game" step but whether you get that book or not you should KEEP WORKING on the instantcert flashcards. You only need the first 5 sets of IC cards for the Financial Accounting CLEP. I will estimate that I memorized 100% of the answers to the first 3 sets of cards and the answers to about 85% of the last 2 flash cards before taking my exam.
...I am going to stop here and post the rest of my feedback to the "specific feedback" section to do my part to encourage people to support this excellent resource...

Others can give you better adivce concerning the actual material on the exam. You need to remember, there are two seperate Financial Accounting tests: CLEP and DSST. ERAU accepts both CLEP and DSST.
Take both in the next week. If CLEP and DSST are offered on the same day, take both versions. You have a double shot here, so burn through all your options.

DSST exams passed:
