GO Linda!!! Sounds like your batteries are recharged. You'll do fine you're a great tester, just look at your scores. No need to procrastinate, The Jersey Shore is over! Sorry, just wanted to throw that in I like trashy tv.

I think this will help...I know it did for me.

I went through the same frustration when typing in the answers as typing is not my strong suite and I sometimes misspelled words. I simply stopped typing in the answer and just ignored the big red WRONG when it displayed. In my head I knew I got it right. When doing it this way it is important to be honest with yourself. If I missed the question I wrote down the question number and reviewed it at the end of the test until I got it right...then I retook the entire test over again...in random order...until I aced the entire section. My key to perfecting the cards was extreme repetition...that's what I found to work; maybe I'm just a little slow on the old learning curve?
Big Grin

I found that I had better continuity and flow learning the cards without the distraction of typing. Try it and see if it helps.

At times the cards or a new subject seems a bit daunting...especially when it is a new subject in which you have no experience. Most of my Psych courses were brand new material but I was able to do well on them by focusing on each section of the cards until I had the basically memorized (the question and why the answer was correct). I would then move to the next section, memorize it, then go back to the beginning and run through each section again before moving on to the next. By the time I completed the last section I had been through all of them more than 10 times and had them down cold...that's when I knew I was ready for a test. It had been 20+ years since High School and I was able to do well on these just using IC & free practice exams I researched on the net.

You CAN do this, take it one section at a time and put everything else out of your head...before you know it, you'll have your coveted diploma in hand and enjoy a chuckle at the struggles you endured.

It has just been an absolutely crazy week and the Gremlins have worn me down.

I had a horrible day at school today, but it was not the kids, I had a great bunch of kids and they reminded me why I want to put myself through all this. I LOVE teaching. The day seems to fly by and I love interacting with the kids, I love when I can see that little lightbulb go off. So I am going to beat Foundations of Education, I am going to Slay memorizing court cases and I am going to pulverize demoralling thoughts:patriot:

Ok I am off to really study and Thanks again

I can't figure out what my problem is with this exam. Sad

I am using ANY and every excuse not to study. I did not have to work or leave the house today I should have spent at least 10 hours studying by now. I have maybe put in 4. I have posted more responses on here they I normally would in a week. :o

I just can't get my butt into this. My test is tomorrow morning at 10:ack: I should be really into this test, this is what I am interested in.

Please someone help me get my head on straight:willynilly:

Umm, hello Pot - it's the Kettle. Aren't you supposed to be studying for Finance there, Ms Cate? Hmmmm, I thought so.

Best wishes to both the pot and the kettle! You can do this. :coolgleam:

I got up this morning at 6:30 just to study. I studied for 2 hrs then got ready and left. I told myself it would be OK if I failed, I haven't failed any test yet and I would just have to add another exam. Sad

I got lost when I got to the college (I can't seem to figure Mercer CC out) and I was late by the time I got to the testing center. I asked the very nice lady if I could have another 15 min just to pull myself together before I started, then I went and sat in a quiet place and reviewed the most important items on my pages of notes.

I almost forgot to get my $10 discount, but the nice lady let me log onto my E-mail and get the code.

So I started the test and the first 10 or so questions really threw me I was sure I didn't know any of them. By half way through the test I was sure I would fail. I skipped questions I wasn't comfortable with and marked ones I wanted to recheck. Once I had been through all the questions once I had used up a little more then half the time. I then went back and answered the ones I had skipped. By that time I had about 30 minutes left. I normally would have gone back and cheched the one I marked, but I was just so frustrated with this whole think so I just clicked "Finish Test"

Much to my surprise I got a 68Confusedmilelol: So I am just so happy to have this one over and done with.

Anyway I am now reinvigorated :coolgleam: I will take the weekend off then start study for Intro Educational Psychology which I even have the REA book for.
