Hello Everyone, How Does My Degree Plan Look?
#1
I’m planning to enroll in UMPI’s History & Political Science, Political Science Concentration, B.A. program. My goal is to transfer 90 credits through Sophia.

The Attachment is my degree plan, with three tables corresponding to General Education Requirements, Political Science Requirements, and General Electives.

Could you please let me know if this plan looks reasonable? Is there anything that could be improved, or do you have any suggestions for me?

"Political Science Requirements" tab comments:

POS 331: Constitutional Law - it should be POS 332.

Not available for Yourpace:
- POS 369 - American-Canadian Relations
- POS 303 - Feminist Theory/PHI 303 - Feminist Theory

Otherwise this tab looks ok.

Think you for your reply! I found those information on this website: http://catalog.umpi.edu/preview_program....turnto=260 and degreeForum wiki.  If these two courses are unavailable, should I look for two other courses to earn 6 credits?

Also, based on my understanding, if a Sophia course fulfills both General Education Requirements and Political Science Requirements, the credits will be transferred towards General Education Requirements, but no credits will be given for Political Science Requirements, meaning I’ll need to take additional courses from elsewhere to fulfill those requirements. Is that correct?

There are some errors in your General Ed.

English Comp 2 is counted twice.

Biology lab is only 1 credit, not 3.

Student Success is 0 credits for General ed.

Everything should add up to 40 credits.

Anything over 40 credits goes in Electives.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience:  CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

Thank you for your reply! I’ve revised my table based on your comment. If you don’t mind, could you let me know if there are any other issues? Or am I already good to earn credits according to this plan?
