So for most exams, UExcel offers a Value Package which, for $45 more than the $110 base, gives you two practice tests and a free retake if you fail.
Anyone know the deal on the practice tests? Can you take them multiple times and use them as a study aid, or is it one take of each test and then on to the real thing?

I think you can take each one once - but obviously, you could take the 1st one, study whatever you were not good on, and then take the 2nd one. That's how I'd do it.
I thought the package also included study materials?

I could be wrong, but I thought I read that the package included a retest if needed, and the two practice tests. I did get the recommended textbook, and the UExcel study guide (free without registration) is a pretty comprehensive list of the areas covered on the test, and includes ~20 sample questions, but I don't think there are other materials in the package.

I meant the $45 package includes study materials.

So just confirming this for someone who may want the info in the future:
The package includes two different tests, about 50 questions each. You can only take the tests once.
Personally, I found the practice test questions more difficult than the actual test questions; I got around a 75 on the first practice test, about an 82 on the second one... but an A (exact score not disclosed, apparently) on the actual exam.
