Has anyone completely (or nearly) tested out (120 credits) of a psych degree at TESC. If not, do you know if there are enough tests available to do it.
Thanks!
Brian

I was accepted to TESC and found I have only 8 psych tests to have my BA in Psych there. I've kinda looked around at other ppl's posts here who have majored in Psych at TESC but haven't seen any that have the same plan as I so I am asking you to look at this please and tell me does my short little degree plan look ok?
DSST
Substance Abuse (scheduled for next monday, yaaay!)
Principles of Counseling
Organizational Behavior (maybe)
CLEP
Educational Psych
ECE
Abnormal Psych
Gerontology
Psychology of Adulthood and Aging (this doesn't overlap gerontology does it?)
Research Methods in Psych
Social Psych (maybe if I don't decide to do organizational behavior dsst)
I'm pretty sure all these are accepted by TESC for a BA in Psych but I wanted to get the opinion of the experts here ;-)
Also, I keep reading ppl saying they submitted a degree plan to TESC but I haven't been able to find that on their website so was I reading that post correctly?
Thanks so much for your help!

No takers on answering my above questions? hmmmmm????
Also, if I send in fema credits transcript to tesc after my initial eval was already done, will they automatically apply those credits or do I need to do something to get them to do it?

WeLLLLLLL no one would answer my questions above :p so i went and took the substance abuse dsst yesterday, got a 468 while 400 is passing. I left feedback should anyone need it. It wasn't too bad but not too easy either, frankly.

I will also be joining TESC's BA in Psychology Program later this year.
I'm curious how upper-division credits will work, or what specific exams apply (if any). So far that's been the only kink in my plans for testing out of most of the degree requirements except most/all psych courses.

I did the BA in Psych at TESC in 42 days of CLEPS. Well just the 33 credits needed...not the whole BA. I took longer to get prepped for the first exam Human Growth and Devel but after that was doing about 1 a week or so. TESC takes all the CLEPS and Org Behavior is allowed for upper level credit. It is easy enough to prep for with IC and the DSST book.
Take a look at my signature and it lists the tests I took. I did a few TECEP's because I was in a super rush to get the credits done. The TECEP's were no harder than the CLEPS / DSST's and a few seems easier because they would list 4-5 questions in a row that basically answered each other.
There are tons of online courses too with LSU etc to take to fulfill the Psych requirements and also Ohio U has their credit by exams that could fill about 5 of the requirements.
Personally, I thought Psych was an easy way to get the BA done since History and Science are not necessarily my thing. Originally I was going to do a Liberal Arts but then a sage poster here advised how much easier Psych was...and he was right.
Good luck, there is an endless amount of info on the board and the Specific Feedback forum.
