I read that this course can help you to develop a prior learning portfolio. Has this been helpful to anyone or is it better to just focus on other testing out methods?

I took it. Mostly it is about teaching you how PLAs work @ TESU and how to determine if a PLA is right for you. PLA200 (which I did not take) is the course that guides you through actually making a portfolio.
TESU BSBA/GenMgmt, Graduation approved for March 2017
