Has anyone taken CIS-351 Software Engineering at TESC?
#1
Anyone take this class? Couldn't find any information on it's difficulty/time consumption.

I'm registering for December classes so I'd like to get some input.

This is what I've already registered for:

Discrete Math (Started last week in November)
Data Structures (dec)
Computer Architecture (dec)

Just finished up C++ and Management of Information Systems. C++ was a real pain because the projects were time consuming but MIS was super easy. I probably shouldn't take another class but I really want to finish up this degree because I'm applying to grad schools for Fall and want to finish up for May so I can get an internship.

Just registered now...the book seems ok.

I took Data Structures and Computer Architecture, both are a decent work load...both closed book midterms and finals. DS had a end-of-semester project.

How is discrete math?

Software engineering wasn't to bad make sure for the writing assignments you answer every question. The teacher isn't a stickler as long as there answered. @wheresmyelephant you are probably in my class I'm enrolled in

Yeah, we're probably in a couple classes together.

Also for the guy who asked about Discrete Math it's not bad for me, but I can see how it would be very difficult. I studied my buns off for the LSAT (law school, all formal logic) so I had a very solid base in logical thinking.

How is calculus with Straighterline? Can the exams be proctored online?
