I've heard the Tech Services Fee is not supposed to be on there, if so, that drops the price to $2912!

And you might want to change college to university! :-)

Are you sure that the TEEX course counts as a general education elective? Also, you can drop Business Ethics and replace it with the CPCU course, but you would have to make up for the 1 missing credit in general education electives. Saylor doesn't have a computer concepts and applications course. You can put their intro to computer science course in that spot, but you already put it in general education.

You should have made me put it in there so I could fix all my mistakes!! I was thinking you knew how to put it in as an excel spreadsheet, rather than a copy/paste into here (harder to read this way).

Yes, the Computer Concepts course is TECEP for $111

And NO, I totally do not know that the TEEX course is GenEd at this point. It used to be, but I couldn't keep up with TESU with all their craziness on this issue. If this is the case, then any GenEd course will do.

I figured no one would follow my plan to the tee, as people would have their own things to put in there, and things they wanted to replace these courses with - like the fact that there are 11 TECEP's. Since you only need 8, you can replace 3 of them with another source. But at least you know all the options for the TECEP's.

Also, not a lot of people will choose precalc from ALEKS, so that will probably get bumped by most. Many won't want to take TEEX if they have no interest in tech stuff (it's a lot of work for 6cr, even if it is free). That kind of thing.

Removing the Tech Svs fee and adding the TECEP, the final cost is $2998!! Pretty darn close to $3000 if I do say so myself. YMMV

True. Even if people take out the more difficult tests/courses, the degree should still be under $3,500. Some people have also had success with powering through Straighterline courses or earning a lot of credits from the language CLEPs.

You can attach an Excel spreadsheet by clicking on "Go Advanced" when posting and then clicking on "Manage Attachments."
