Not so much difficult as....bothersome? When things don't make sense they bother me, I learned nothing from the course, but I digress I have expressed my feelings about this course before.
As long as you follow the syllabus and listen to the directions/corrections your mentor gives you, you'll be fine.

Hi There,
Just FYI, I don't know if it would help in this case, but I started my Capstone about five weeks ago and got the project I used to attain a credential approved by both the client I did the original project for and my mentor at TESC to use for my Capstone project. If there is a way for you to kill two birds with one stone, and use a project you have already done that might be easier. Of course, I can't just turn the project in as it was. I am still redoing it, but at least I am redoing what was a finished/edited/etc. project. I might add that when originally producing the project I am now using in the Capstone I had most of the same headaches as Nevados37 because I had never attempted a project like that in my life before (or since until the Capstone). In my case, this is work that I did for a client, which can be used to potentially get a job, so it sounds more useful than a lot of these projects, but I totally understand that you do whatever you can to get through the course with the best grade possible in the quickest amount of time..

There were several students in my course who would have definitely failed if this policy hadn't been in place (and for all I know, some of them may have failed). In any module, you should just be able to email your TESC professor asking for an extension and they'll give it to you. I've done that and I have friends who have.
