I've experience in Marketing and know concepts. I invested about 4 hours today going over BUS203 : Principles of Marketing and I felt pretty good about trying the Final exam. I was at work so I decided not to do the proctored and got 78%. I kind of regret not doing the proctored since now I have to take it again. I just wanted to share with you the experience.
Tck
The non-proctored should ALWAYS be taken before the proctored. The questions are usually EXACTLY the same as the questions after each chapter you learn, so I am sure the proctored is much more difficult as you haven't seen the questions before.

Hey,
You get access to multiple courses, such as the DSST ones you are going to take the exam for. The CLEP info may benefit you in the economic course you are taking at Saylor. Many people like the Flash Card and the Subforum for Instant Cert, that may have valuable study info.
Thanks,

I'm taking SL Macroeconomics and been studying like crazy to take the exams, I have taken all exams from 1 to 19 plus the midterm. I have been getting good grades int hem and contribution to course total adds up to 96.19%. What do I need to score on the Proctored Final to pass the course? Thanks Tck

If you're at 96% with nothing left to take but the final, congrats because you could literally get a 0 and still pass the class (with an ~84% at that). The final is very lightly weighted in this course (worth only 120/1000 points). There is no mention in the syllabus of a final exam minimum requirement.

I have completed BSBA in General Management this week and I'm exited. I would like to thank everyone that supported me with this journey for over a year. A very very special thanks to dfrecore which is a very knowledgeable person and has supported me along the way. I'm all set for Dec 17 graduation and I cannot wait. I will take two weeks to research about what are my options to pursue an MBA in Finance. Would like to find a school that is not expensive and can finish fairly quickly. Thanks again for this forum and all others like Dfecore and bjcheung77.

Congrats, that's awesome! Hard work paid off in the end... LOL, my initial thought was also an MBA in Finance. Here's my take on what I want to do next after my Biz/IT certs: http://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/showthre...?tid=27492
Basically, I would recommend the MBA Finance from Patten, then there are the Hodges MPA (or MIS since you're in IT already), and WGU is an awesome choice for their MBA ITM or MS ITM and MSML (Management & Leadership).
